In the Magic Valley there are a number of things you can do and ways you can help the community, and some of it you can do from the comfort of your home.
BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idahoans donated roughly $1 million to more than 800 nonprofits and charities Thursday as part of "Idaho Gives," the 24-hour, online fundraising blitz.
If you care about Idaho charities, you need to prepare for Thursday, May 5. It's Idaho Gives Day and it's all about giving to charities in Idaho that are carrying out the work for causes you have compassion for.
Lots of great things happened this past week, but the one thing that sticks in my mind is the Jerome Main Street fire. Flames burned down ten families' homes. It's so very sad, but what I know about this community is, we take care of our neighbors here in the Magic Valley...

Idaho Gives kicks off this Thursday (May 2, 2013) in Twin Falls. I already know that I am donating to the St. Luke's Health Foundation specifically for breast cancer awareness and I'm challenging you to do the same!
