Well, Youtube interview Sam Roberts got to the bottom of at least why one woman had camped out two days for the iPhone, and her reasoning will probably make your head hurt.

People sure do love their iPhones, but they also can't seem to stop dropping them—good news for the booming iPhone-repair business. In fact, a recent accident survey by SquareTrade found that the American population has spent nearly $5.9 billion fixing their damaged phones since the first device hit the market in 2007.

Virgin Mobile just announced what could be the best deal on an iPhone and service, period. Starting June 29th, you can get an iPhone 4S on the Virgin Mobile network for $30 a month and that includes unlimited text and data. There's no contracts either. This is pre-paid goodness.

File this under "So why in the world did you buy one?" A survey by Ipsos OTX of 5,013 adults has found that 19 percent of smart phone owners have never used their device to access the Internet. Furthermore, 32 percent have never used an app, assuring that their smart phone Internet experience -- for which they are presumably paying a monthly charge for -- is extremely limited.

Security experts Peter Warden and Alasdair Allen have made a startling discovery about Apple’s iPhone and 3G iPad:  The devices secretly track and record your location. Apparently, this has been going on for 10 months, despite the fact that Apple has never previously disclosed that they keep a record of all their iPhone users whereabouts.
