January Unemployment Held Steady at 3%
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for the Gem state has stayed steady at 3% for January. According to the Idaho Department of Labor, it is the fifth consecutive month at that rate. Nonfarm jobs went up by 500 in January to 728,600.
Idaho Employers Looking to Hire Veterans
A special job fair is set for Thursday in Twin Falls specifically targeting veterans. The Idaho Department of Labor will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their local office with area companies looking to hire people who have served in the military.

More than 60 employers will be at a job fair in the Treasure Valley hoping to recruit candidates to fill job openings. The Idaho Department of Labor announced the Made Here! Expo and Job Fair at the Ford Idaho Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Wednesday.
