Review: ‘Fantastic Four’ Is a Complete Bore
Here’s the thing about this Fantastic Four movie: it was supposed to be horrible. This movie has been riding an almost unprecedented level of bad buzz since earlier this year. Strangely, it seems to have started over literally nothing. Fans were upset they hadn’t seen anything official from the movie and began to suspect it stunk. Then, depending on who you talk to, the director was fired, the actors were upset and the script was a mess. But, the days of speculation are over and none of that bad buzz matters any more; there’s an actual film that can be judged on its own merits. Sadly, Fantastic Four, on its own merits, is still horrible.

In an age where audiences are inundated with superhero movies and superhero movie news, Josh Trank’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot has distinguished itself from the pack by being the movie that no one knows anything about. Aside from that vague, Interstellar-inspired teaser trailer, most of what we know about this film comes from hearsay and gossip. Depending on who you talk to, the film is either coming along fine or it’s an incomprehensible disaster. Could the brand new poster for the film give us anything new to chew on?

Rumor: The ‘Fantastic Four’ Coming to Comic-Con 2014
We've already heard about Disney's Marvel and Warner Bros.' DC lineups coming to Comic-Con 2014 (whether they've been officially confirmed or not), but what about that itty-bitty superhero property over in 20th Century Fox land, 'Fantastic Four'? The cast and crew have been on location in Louisiana filming for a couple months now, but will they be jetting to San Diego to appease the fans?

First and foremost, the Fantastic Four are a family. When they're not off saving the world from threats both cosmic and human, they're living together in the same building as a slightly dysfunctional but loving unit. However, director Josh Trank's upcoming reboot is looking to shake up the FF formula in some fascinating new ways, and the casting of Reg E. Cathey as the father of Johnny and Sue Sto

When I was a young man and the Internet was new, I made the same joke every time I dialed-up and heard those dissonant, scratchy tones. “Chhhhhhh-CHHHHHH-Chhhhhh” my modem would bray, and as soon as there was silence I'd turn to whomever was in the room and conspiratorially say, "all right, we're in." 'Transcendence,' the first feature film directed by Christopher Nolan's longtime cinema

UPDATE: For what it's worth, we spoke to some high-level studio sources who flatly denied the below report and stated it's "not at all" true. Filming is still scheduled to begin on April 21 and Trank himself is on set right now. The 'Fantastic Four' movie has not been without its hiccups, but few superhero movies are. We didn't think much of the troubles and when the cast was finally ann

Though covering much of the same ground as the first one, the latest 'Transcendence' trailer plays up the role of the terrorists (headed by Kate Mara) who are looking to stop people like Johnny Depp from achieving the singularity. It seems as thought it's meant to show that this science-fiction film is going to have action alongside its heady ideas.
