Motorhead, Rush and Aerosmith are amongst the nominees in 11 just-announced categories for the fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards Show, but the highest honors will go to Metallica and Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, in addition to Rob Zombie. Metallica will also play at the show's live concert on May 2 at Club Nokia in Los Angeles.

The fifth annual Revolver Golden Gods Award Show looks to be the event's biggest ceremony to date, as Metallica, Rob Zombie and Tony Iommi will be among the honorees. This year's Revolver Golden Gods takes place May 2 at Los Angeles' Club Nokia and also features a headlining performance by Metallica.

One year ago Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath released his memoir, 'Iron Man: My Journey Through Heaven and Hell With Black Sabbath.' The hard cover book came just before his lymphoma diagnosis, leaving the full story untold. That will change this fall when Iommi releases the paperback version.
