BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho lawmakers are again taking up legislation that would require parental permission for teens to use tanning beds after failing to pass similar measures two out of the past three years.

The House Health and Welfare Committee voted to introduce the bill Friday, which would apply to children 14 to 18 years old. Children under 14 would be restricted completely. Similar bills were introduced in 2012 and 2013, but didn't pass.
