Gooding, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) The controversy over at the Gooding School District continued on Tuesday night. As the Board of Trustees meet to discuss future possible action regarding Superintendent Mary Larson.

The meeting started at 7 and immediately went into executive session for about an hour and a half. It’s not yet clear what exactly was discussed in the executive session, but parents from around the district were happy to voice their concerns. According to one parent representative, a petition has begun circulating calling for the resignation of Superintendent Larson.

Along with the petition, a vote of no confidence was submitted to the board on behalf of Gooding School District Employees. In a meeting that took place in mid-November, out of the 128 employees in the district, 91 percent voted in favor of a no confidence vote. Those results were again submitted to the board.

After the executive session the board notified the crowd that discussion will continue on the matter and no other information was provided. Idaho’s First News reached out to Superintendent Larson for a comment at the meeting
