Ubisoft's upcoming across-the-country racer the Crew just became a bit more accessible, as the UbiBlog has announced an Xbox 360 version of the game coming alongside the new-generation versions in the fall.

Ubisoft doesn't waste any time with this blog post, starting it by saying "America just got a bit more crowded… and that’s a good thing. The Crew – winner of the Best Racing Game of E3 from the 2014 Game Critics Awards – will now be coming out on Xbox 360 on November 11, 2014. The innovative action-driving MMO is set in an open-world United States populated with other players. Drivers can race through quick challenges, tackle gameplay missions with a crew of fellow players, or simply hit the road to explore the massive countryside. Check out the latest trailer for a glimpse of the endless adventures you’ll find in The Crew’s playground."

Along with the Xbox 360 version, Ubisoft has also announced a closed beta for consoles coming in late September, with a limited amount of players gaining access to the beta on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Ubisoft already announced a beta for PC players on August 25, which is still on schedule.

It's interesting that the game is coming to the Xbox 360 but not the PlayStation 3. Throughout the last generation it was thought that PS3 was more difficult to develop for than 360, and we suppose that still holds true when it comes to porting new-gen games to the last-gen systems.

The Crew launches November 11 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and PC.
