Think you've got what it takes to survive the horrors of The Evil Within? This video primes you on some of the best tactics to help keep Sebastian Castellanos alive.

We're shown just a few of the bad guys, called the Haunted, that the good detective will face while traversing Krimson City. Their only goal is to relegate Sebastian to the past tense using any means necessary. These ghouls are sometimes so high powered that not even killing them will be able to stop them. For example, there's an enemy called "the Keeper," also known by his nickame "Boxhead," who shambles around with a safe around his head, drops traps and wields a giant hammer. You can kill him, but he'll keep coming after you.

Along with these walking nightmares, Sebastian also has to deal with environmental hazards that could mean his untimely end. These include proximity mines, spike traps, tripwires and a whole lot more. Fortunately, the keen-eyed player will be able to spot these traps and hopefully use them to on the creepy denizens of Krimson City.

As much as Sebastian has to avoid enemies and environmental dangers, we will at least be equipped with weaponry. The most versatile weapon he'll rock is called the Agony Crossbow, which can use specialized bolts to stun, explode, pin or even freeze his enemies. We can't wait to play around with all of its different ammunition types.

Watch the trailer above and get hyped for the release of The Evil Within for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Oct. 14.
