If you think your trip to the dentist was scary, wait until you see who a dentist in Idaho Falls had to deal with. One of the male lions from the Idaho Falls Zoo had some teeth issues and needed some work done.

About halfway through the video, the staff starts doing one of the largest pedicures I've ever witnessed

To understand the challenge this dentist faced, an adult lion tooth can be about 10 centimeters long, according to the National Geographic website. You don't want to be on the wrong end of those fangs.

NOTE: I had a video of the dentist working on the lion, but it appears to have been removed by the Idaho Falls Zoo now for some reason. Dang the luck.

The lions at the Idaho Falls Zoo are a part of the Africa section (duh). One of the main male lions in the pride has had a cracked tooth that the zookeepers have been wanting to take care of. Now that the zoo is closed until next April, they figured now was the time to knock the big guy out and let the dentist have his way.

About halfway through the video, the staff starts doing one of the largest pedicures I've ever witnessed. No lion will have fancier paws than this lion.

The Idaho Falls Zoo is closed until next spring, but it's a highly recommended trip. You can see this big boy lion and also the two new cubs that were just introduced into the pride.
