The Witcher 3 Features 16 Hours of Sex Scene Motion Capture Data

Having over 16 hours of motion captured sex scene data in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt means Geralt of Rivia has his work cut out for him.

PC Gamer reports that The Witcher 3 is going to be a Wild Hunt indeed as CD Projekt Red has mo-capped over 16 hours of sex scene data for this massive RPG. Obviously, this doesn't mean that there is going to be 16 hours of available in-game bed-squeaking, but let's just say these scenes are going to be well rehearsed.

"We are establishing that your character was intimate with this woman [Yennefer] recently in order to plant in your mind, that, at the very least, he must enjoy her company," said Damien Monhie, a Senior Game Designer at CD Projekt Red. "Through sex we have shown that this is a person who Geralt would be compelled to chase after if she went missing."

"We couldn't just tell you to go find someone you don't know or care about. It wouldn't work."

Uh, it worked for Link a dozen times, and he's perpetually stuck in the Hylian friend zone. CD Projekt Red has done some pretty elaborate sex scenes in The Witcher series in the past, and we're not surprised they're going the distance to provide some authenticity to the old bump and grind.

Make sure you use protection when The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt debuts on May 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
