If you've been following Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call based on trailers alone, then you know that the game is coming soon. How? With this new trailer covering the music of the Final Fantasy XIII series, there's not much more these videos can cover before the game launches.

This new trailer covers the music of Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and the most recent game, Lightning Returns. As such, you can expect a lot of the pink-haired heroine throughout the video as the trailer goes through some of the songs we'll be tapping along to. If you're not familiar with those three games, Square Enix has summarized it pretty well: "With a story spanning thousands of years, FINAL FANTASY XIII became the first game in the series to unfold its saga as a trilogy. The story’s heroine, Lightning, transforms from a soldier cursed by fate into a warrior chosen by the goddess and finally the savior of the world itself in three distinct chapters."

Part of the reason we're so interested in Theatrhythm is so we can relive the greatness of the Final Fantasy soundtrack, even if those songs came out just over a year ago. Great music is great music, right? We only hope that Curtain Call adds more to the formula than just new music, because we all already played Theatrhythm before and we don't really want to play the same game again. We'll find out for sure when it launches, so for now we'll just listen to the music again and again while we wait.

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy Curtain Call launches September 23 on the Nintendo 3DS.
