Is it wrong that I'm sad the Connecticut shooter is already dead?  While I would love an opportunity at him, I'm sure the grieving mothers, fathers, siblings, friends, and other family members deserve that much.  An eye-for-an-eye.

Of course I am referring to the Connecticut Elementary School shooting that occurred this morning.  It resulted in so far 26 dead, including 18 children.  The shooter.

UPDATE 12:20: The shooter’s name is Ryan Lanza, 24, according to authorities. CBS is reporting that one of the victims is Lanza’s mother, who was a teacher at the school.

I believe there is a special place in Hell for evil people like this.  I won't describe to you what I imagine it includes but lets just say unwanted repeated sodomy is a good start.

My role here at 98.3 The Snake is to help you get through your day.  And today is a day like no other.  Although I do not have children, my husband and I were planing on trying to make a family in the new year.  For someone who does not have children, I can only imagine how someone with child feels, let alone those parents who lost their children.

There are no words.  I feel lost and very angry.  I'm not a very religious person, but I would consider myself spiritual.  I believe in taking the higher ground.  However, in this case, I hope the shooter rots in Hell.

My heart and prayers go out to everyone effected by this shooting.  What do you do after something like this happens?

This CNN quote is shocking, but I wonder the same thing:

"Why? Why?" one woman wailed as she walked up a wooded roadway leading from the school.

When bad things happen, I remember my father, a religious man, when he told me, "the devil exist."
