Let's hope this wasn't a precursor to something bigger. The USGS has reported that a fairly large earthquake happened Saturday afternoon in Western Wyoming near the Idaho border.

Initial reports had this quake registering a 4.8 on the Richter Scale. We also saw some National Weather Service offices in Wyoming getting reports of shaking on their Facebook pages. Grand Teton National Park also had reports on their Facebook page.

We've had some relatively small quakes in Idaho, but nothing this close to us this large in quite some time. Needless to say, we'll update reports if we get new information. In the meantime, might want to secure your best china.
