This Woman Takes You To Ernest Hemingway’s Ketchum Home

This July will mark the 58th anniversary of the death of famed author Ernest Hemingway. For those who wish to visit the area he lived in, or view his gravesite to pay respects, the woman in this YouTube video will show you exactly how to get there.

Hemingway died at age 61 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Reports say his health was fading due to diabetes, but his wife claimed his death was not a suicide, but instead an accident as a result from Hemingway cleaning his gun. His home still stands in the city of Ketchum, Idaho.

Ernest Hemingway is buried in Ketchum Cemetery, which is located 80 miles north of Twin Falls. I recently came across a YouTube post from September of 2017 that gives precise directions to Hemingway's home. Through a combination of Google Earth, and a good old fashioned country drive, this motorist takes us within a mile of one of Idaho's most famous pieces of real estate.
