Andy Kindler is a legend among his peers for being one of the bravest men in comedy, because while many others write jokes about relationships, airlines, bathroom habits or even pop culture, Andy enjoys talking about a topic that has long been taboo, the profession of stand-up comedy. For example, not only does Kindler give a humorous dissertation on “The State of the Industry” at the world famous Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal each year, he's also the author of the National Lampoon article, The Hack’s Handbook, which is a satirical "how-to guide" for up and coming comics. When not analyzing the joke business, Andy is a regular contributor to "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Daily Show" and hosts "Live at Gotham" on Comedy Central. Andy has also served as one of the judges on NBC's reality show "Last Comic Standing" and is a voice of Mort the Mortician on the FOX animated series "Bob's Burgers."

Also Featured On Today's Show:

Drew Hastings: is not only one of the most brilliant comedians working today, he's also one of the only metrosexual "Gentleman Farmers" in the midwest. Unless you know of another guy raising pigs and growing corn while wearing a black mock turtle-neck sweater. Drew is currently working on a new pilot for television called "The Battle of Hastings," and if it's anything like the trailer, it should be picked up immediately. You can also now enjoy Drew Hastings new "ManCandle."

Ryan Stout: This former Boy Scout is able to sell his wickedly witty “offensive humor” to audiences because the honesty, insincerity and self-righteousness he exudes is just so darn likable. Stout has been featured on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, and regularly pops up on MTV.
