Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Twin Falls Police have released the names of the children who died in a trailer fire Monday night. Firefighters immediately entered the trailer and removed two juvenile males, who were identified as four-year-old Kayden Green and one-year-old Damion Green. A three-year-old female was also inside the trailer when the fire started, but was able to escape without injuries. The two juvenile males were transported to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

At approximately 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8, the Twin Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a fire at the High Desert RV Park located at 221 Addison Ave. West in Twin Falls. When firefighters arrived they found a recreational trailer that was fully engulfed in flames.
Witnesses at the RV park reported that the recreational trailer was used as a residence and that there were small children inside the trailer.

The fire was extinguished at about 6:20 p.m. and detectives with the Twin Falls Police Department and the Twin Falls County Coroner’s Office secured the scene for investigation. Detectives believe the three children were the only individuals inside the trailer at the time of the fire. Witnesses said the mother was in the RV park, but not inside the trailer when the fire started. The father of the children was being held at the Twin Falls County Jail during the time of the fire – he has been notified about the incident and accommodations are being made to assist the father. The American Red Cross was contacted to request temporary housing, food and clothing for the surviving child and the mother.

Detectives are speaking with witnesses and the mother of the children to determine the cause of the fire. At this time the fire is still under investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
