Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) On Monday night the Twin Falls City Council held a public hearing to take in comments from citizens on the 2015 tentative budget. After hearing from the public, the council unanimously approved the budget. This year's budget is up, compared to last year. Up over 4 million dollars.

From a little under 53 million in 2014 to 57 million dollars today. The total taxable valuation is also on the rise, up 1.45 % from 2014. The tax rate is up as well, from $7.86 per $1,000 in taxable value to $7.93 this year.
