Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - It was a packed house at the Twin Falls City Council meeting tonight as the oath of office was administered to a select few taking over positions in the city.

First, Bryan Krear was appointed to interim Chief of Police. Krear was formerly the captain of the criminal investigation division. He then helped to welcome two new Twin Falls police officers to the force and swear them in. Of Krear, City Manager Travis Rothweiler explained, "Bryan was hired on December 1st, 1990 as a full time police officer.

During his career, he has worked as a patrol officer, canine handler, field training officer." Former Police Chief Brian Pike was appointed to one of two new Deputy City Manager jobs, along with Mitch Humble. Those positions are part of a new restructuring plan in the city.
