TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Want to build something in Twin Falls? The city just made it easier to start the process. The City of Twin Falls just launched its online permit application program.

People can now apply for and get inspection results that range from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing permits. The city says the program should streamline the process and save time and money. The system is called City of Twin Falls’ PLL (Permitting, Licensing, and Land) Portal. It is also designed status updates to applicants on their mobile devices.

“It makes it easier for everyone because the builder can apply for permits from the job site or anywhere else for that matter, and our Building Department can spend less time facilitating paperwork and more time with customers,” said Jarrod Bordi, Building Official with the City of Twin Falls Building Department.

He also adds the City has made an effort to eliminate paperwork by moving towards a digital filing system to store permits and plans.

Before applying you should contact the city to set up a secure account.
