It's always good to be prepared. So, now is as good a time as any to learn some new emergency preparedness skills (especially if you ask a Clinton supporter).

Really though, there is information and skills that you should know no matter the state of our union. You can learn how to be prepared for all types of disasters this weekend. The Twin Falls Emergency Preparedness event is Saturday November 12th from 8-11:30am at the LDS Church at 541 Orchard Drive.

The event will include classes on 72-hour kits, water and sanitation, the Twin Falls School District emergency response plan, gardening, and financial planning. Plus booths with information from the Sherriff's Office SWAT Team, Search and Rescue, alternative power and fuel, food and water preservation, bees, trees, and first aid.

Event is free and refreshments will be served.
