Twin Falls Man injured in Multi-vehicle Crash Near Boise

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – A Twin Falls man was taken to the hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday near Boise. 

A second Twin Falls resident also was involved in the crash, which happened a little before 2 p.m. at milepost 78 on Interstate 84 east of the Boise Stage Stop.

According to Idaho State Police, Vancouver resident Pavel Priymak, 52, was driving a Volvo semi-truck and trailer. As he slowed for traffic, 23-year-old Twin Falls resident Antonio Vega, who was traveling behind Priymak in a Mack concrete pump truck, struck the rear of Priymak's vehicle. Priymak's semi was pushed into three vehicles and sideswiped an SUV, driven by Svetlana Movsesyan, 64, also of Twin Falls.

All vehicles remained upright and came to rest in the eastbound lanes of the interstate.

Vega was taken by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Another crash victim named Steven Dunbar, 54, of Ligonier, Ind., was taken to the same hospital by ground ambulance. All other occupants in the vehicles were uninjured, according to ISP.

The eastbound lanes were blocked for about four hours, and the right lane for about 90 minutes. The crash is still under investigation.
