Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - Police in Twin Falls say they are investigating a report that someone is impersonating an officer. On Sunday morning about 12:24 a.m., a female motorist was traveling west in the 600 block of Park Avenue when a black large SUV possibly with Idaho license plates began following her.

The female motorist observed red and blue flashing lights on the dashboard of the vehicle. She pulled to the side of the roadway and stopped. She said a white male asked her to step from her vehicle claiming she had been swerving. She described the person as a Caucasian male, 5-foot 8 to 5 foot 11, weighing 160 to 180 pounds.

He was clean shaven with black hair wearing a Black T-shirt and blue jeans. The female driver told the man she was going to call 911 unless a uniformed officer arrived. The male suspect then fled the scene, traveling west on Park Avenue. If you happen to see a vehicle matching this description or a black SUV with flashing red and blue lights, please immediately call the Twin Falls Police Department at 735-4357 or 311.
