Two More Arrested in Connection with East Idaho Murder
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — An eastern Idaho man and woman have been arrested and face charges of felony accessory to manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of a Pocatello woman.
Authorities say 26-year-old Keith McQuilliams and 20-year-old Nubia Castillo helped 25-year-old Kevin McQuilliams elude police after he shot and killed 34-year-old Annarae Ponce. Keith McQuilliams is Kevin McQuilliams' older brother. The Post Register reports that Keith McQuilliams and Castillo appeared in court on Wednesday.
Kevin McQuilliams faces charges of involuntary manslaughter and aggravated assault following the Jan. 1 shooting death in Idaho Falls of Ponce. Police say Keith McQuilliams and Castillo after the shooting drove Kevin McQuilliams to Pocatello and helped him gather clothing and his son so he could flee. But he was arrested in California, where he remains in custody.
