FILER, Idaho (KLIX) – A two-vehicle crash this morning sent one person to the hospital.

Idaho State Police officers responded to an injury crash at 7:41 a.m. Friday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and Adell Street in Filer.

Filer resident Mariah Miller, 23, was traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 30 in a 1987 Ford Mustang when she attempted a left-hand turn into a gas station, according to ISP. In her attempt, she struck the front of a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup driven by 30-year-old Van Wiebe, also of Filer, who was traveling westbound on Highway 30. Both vehicles came to rest out of the lanes of travel.

Wiebe was wearing his seat belt. Miller was not wearing her seatbelt, according to ISP, and was transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center by ground ambulance.  One of the westbound lanes of Highway 30 was blocked by emergency vehicles for about 30 minutes.

ISP is still investigating the crash.
