Houda from The College of Southern Idaho joined The Morning Show with Brad and Jackie this morning. She informed us about the CSI Stage Door production, the 40th Annual Boxing Smoker and the college's dual credit deadline.

  • CSI Stage Door production is tonight at 7:30 on the Fine Arts Auditorium stage. ‘Inside Earth Wind and Fire’ gives the audience an up close look at the creative experience in several art forms. Participants in this production will include the CSI Dance Department, professional potters Bill and Cheryl West, CSI music professor and percussionist Scott Farkas, and the poetry of Camille Barigar and theater professor Shane Brown. The audience will be seated on stage among the artists as they perform. Tickets are available at the door for $10 per person.
  • The 40th annual CSI Cowboy/Cowgirl Boxing Smoker is next Saturday, January 28th. This is one of CSI’s longest-running student events and is the CSI Rodeo program’s major fundraiser each January. CSI rodeo team members square off against athletes from other programs and from other schools as well as a few would-be boxers from around Twin Falls. Tickets always go fast for this event so we recommend you get them in advance. General admission seats are $10 per person (if you buy them in advance) and can be bought at Vicker’s in Twin Falls, EZ Money Auto in Burley, and the Shoe and Tack Shop in Jerome as well as at the CSI Expo Center office.
  • High school juniors and seniors need to be aware that the deadline to sign up for Dual Credit classes this semester is February 10th. Dual credit classes give you high school and college credit at the same time. They save you a lot of money and can greatly shorten the time you’ll spend getting your college degree. Ask your high school counselor right away about the dual credit classes offered in your high school before February 10th.
