TWIN FALLS, Idaho – The College of Southern Idaho Veterinary Technology Club and the Magic Valley Pony Club will host their third annual one-day seminar “Horse Care: Basics and Beyond” from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 11 in CSI’s Evergreen building.

The seminar is open to all horse enthusiasts age 10 and older. Two learning tracks will be available, for beginners or those with some experience with horses. Sessions include anatomy, first aid, conformation, nutrition and rider exercises. Some activities will be hands on with horses in a semi-heated clinic.

Participants are encouraged to wear cowboy or hiking boots that protect feet and ankles and to dress appropriately for the weather.

The fee is $45, which includes lunch. All proceeds will benefit the CSI Vet Tech Club and Magic Valley Pony Club. Organizers ask that you pre-register no later than March 4.
