Washington Man Dies in Rollover Crash East of Boise

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — The Idaho State Police say a Washington man has died in a single-vehicle rollover crash on westbound Interstate 84 about eight miles east of Boise.

KTVB-TV reports 64-year-old Kenneth Powers of Yakima was a passenger in the car driven by a 16-year-old from Yakima. The vehicle hit the guardrail and rolled down an embankment.

The Idaho State Police say four others — a woman and three children — were taken to local hospitals. Everyone in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt.
