JEROME, Idaho (KLIX) – A Wendell man is dead after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a metal pole on State Highway 25 in Jerome.

At about 12:48 p.m. Chadwick Rosen, 60, was driving westbound in a 1989 Ford Econoline on State Highway 25, according to Idaho State Police. While driving, his vehicle veered off the road and impacted a metal pole near mile marker 1.

Rosen was pronounced dead at the scene, according to ISP. Next of kin has been notified.

The accident caused some blockage on the highway for about 20 minutes, but all lanes have since reopened. ISP is continuing to investigate the crash.
