Wilder Woman Shot and Killed

WILDER, Idaho (AP) — Southwest Idaho authorities say a 39-year-old woman has died in a shooting and police are looking for a 51-year-old man.

The Canyon County Sheriff's Office in a statement Friday says Erasmo Alcala Diaz of Wilder is a suspect in the shooting and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say police responded to a report of shots fired at about 11 p.m. Thursday to a residence west of Wilder.

Police say emergency responders attempted lifesaving measures but the woman died of her injuries.
