Magic Valley, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Work is underway on two new manufacturing plants in the Southern Idaho Region.

In Burley, the Fabri–Kal plant has already cleared the land and is moving in large equipment and materials for construction. The company is a leading provider of plastic food-service and custom thermo–formed packaging solutions. The $50–million project will result in a new 100,000 square foot design and manufacturing facility.

In Twin Falls, the Clif Bar site is also busy with the sights and sounds of large machinery and construction. Construction has been underway since the groundbreaking ceremony that took place in mid–March.

The 275,000 square foot bakery will include a number of sustainable amenities including natural lighting, a specially designed roof to reduce emissions, and state of the art processes and packaging systems. Construction is anticipated for completion in the spring of 2016.
