I bet most of us know that Yellowstone is beautiful (smelly, but still beautiful) in the summer. What you may not know is that during the winter, Yellowstone is a completely different experience.

The geysers don't seem to care that everything is draped in a blanket of snow. If anything, the cold air makes the hot water eruptions even more magnificent. The Yellowstone Facebook page posted a video of Old Faithful erupting on the first day of winter.
