TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-A Twin Falls city commission approved a special use permit earlier this week for a proposed "adult arcade" to serve alcohol. According to city documents, the Twin Falls City Planning and Zoning Commission approved the special use permit on Tuesday to serve alcohol on the premises called the Dugout just off Blue Lakes in the Centennial Square Shopping Mall. Documents provided to the commission from the owners said the Dugout would be an adult arcade with darts, shuffle board leagues, foosball, air hockey, video games, along with a juke box. Plans proposed to the city include operating from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the weekdays and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The business doesn't plan on serving cooked food, only packaged food products like bags of chips and jerky. All six members of the Planning and Zoning Commission voted in favor of the special use permit.
