TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – It’s that time of year again when Magic Valley artists showcase their creativity in the form of drawings, jewelry, paintings, sculptures and more.

In other words, it’s time for the annual Art & Soul of the Magic Valley.

The seventh annual event kicks off at a celebration scheduled from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 13, at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place. You can view the artwork at places throughout the valley between April 14 and 29.

Each art venue is marked by a yellow flag with a red-shaped heart.

At the event Thursday, you’ll have the chance to meet the artists, register to vote for your favorite works of art, and enjoy light refreshments and music.

Art & Soul of the Magic Valley, presented by the Magic Valley Arts Council, is the largest cash prize art contest in the Northwest, according to the MVAC. Some $43,000 in prize money is awarded during the event, including a top prize of $15,000 for the winning artist.
