‘Yellow Submarine’ Floating Hotel Opens In Liverpool
A floating hotel, based on the Beatles 1966 song and 1968 film, ‘Yellow Submarine,’ has opened in the Fab Four’s hometown of Liverpool. The hotel aboard an 80-foot submarine, or ‘narrowboat,’ opened this weekend on Albert Dock in the famed city. The vessel, which can accommodate up to eight people, is the brainchild of an eccentric businessman named Alfie Bubbles, according to the Daily Mail.

As previously announced, the classic Kiss album ‘Destroyer’ is getting the deluxe treatment. According to Bravewords, a release date has finally been set for August 21. The 35th anniversary deluxe edition will be a two-CD set that will include rare material as well as a new remix of the album, done by original producer Bob Ezrin.
Pearl Jam Cover Pink Floyd, Van Halen and the Who at Berlin Concert
Third generation classic rockers Pearl Jam paid tribute to a few of classic rock giants at their show on July 5 in Berlin, Germany. Performing at the Berlin O2 Arena, the alt rock legends dished out a few surprises including a straight up rendition of the Pink Floyd ‘Wall’ classic ‘Mother.’ The crowd roared its approval as Eddie Vedder sang the first line.
