For the next several days, families will gather at various spots throughout the Magic Valley to take pictures as area high schools prepare to host graduation ceremonies.

For anyone who might be trying to determine the best locations to take pictures for graduation invitations or post-ceremony, cap and gown photos, there are a few backdrops to consider beforehand.

The Snake River Canyon is one of southern Idaho's biggest tourist draws, but for locals, it's often underappreciated. The Snake River Gorge is perhaps the best spot to get incredible pictures of graduates during one of the biggest weeks of their lives.

Graduates and Their Families Have Several Great Spots to Take Pictures Near Twin Falls

One of the unique things about living in southern Idaho is the number of different landscapes that make up the region. Within an hour's drive from Twin Falls, there are beautiful waterfalls, crystal clear springs, some of the tallest sand dunes in America, and top-notch rivers and lakes, all provide wonderful photo opportunities.

From this vantage point, landmarks such as the Perrine Coulee Falls, the Perrine Bridge, and the Snake River loom large for amazing pictures.
