Blu Restaurant Closed in Twin Falls

Blu, the restaurant on Addison Avenue in Twin Falls is closed until further notice. We first came across this news when someone was asking about it on Facebook. A few searches online and Google still says they're open, but their doors say otherwise. What I believe the typed note on the door was trying to say-- was that due to situations beyond their control, they'll be closed until further notice. On Friday, November 8, around 2 p.m., which would have been normal business hours otherwise, the place looked empty and chairs were still flipped up on the table. It seems like it could be a bit before they reopen and offer any of their tacos, burgers, salads, or mac-n-cheese.

Especially after the sign was taken off of their building on Saturday morning and some said furniture was being moved out of the building on Sunday.

A couple of years ago, we mentioned the restaurant had reopened in Twin Falls, after closing its doors at the end of 2016 in Filer. Between their reopening announcement, two months went by before we heard any news about the restaurant reopening. The other strange thing about this news is Blu's Facebook page has been deleted or deactivated. When we tried to get on it Friday, we weren't able to. I called their number listed online, but it went straight to voicemail and didn't say anything about a closure. Instead, it gave me a list of reasons why they might not have answered and also mentioned catering for the holidays and events. None of those reasons said because they were closed until further notice.

Who knows if the restaurant might reopen at 1986 Addison Ave West one day or another location, but if they do we'll try to be the first to let you know.
