BOISE (KTVB) -- The octopus at the Boise Aquarium has a new home.

The design was made possible by working with a local architect and biologists.

"This one is double the size of the one that she was in,” said biologist Sheree McMullen.  “It allows her to explore a lot more.  It's a two-chambered tank so she is able to go through a little tube, explore through the tube and just give her a happier, healthier environment."

The new space also includes more rockwork and caves inside the exhibit.

The octopus has been at the aquarium for just over six months, but she doesn't have a name.

The Boise Aquarium wants the public to help by submitting possible names for the octopus. They plan to select a name by the end of the month.
