CA Man Goes To Police To See If He Could Legally ‘Kill’ Someone
Reading the local police blotter is something many people enjoy doing. Every once in a while, a station reports people doing things that just defies all logic.
Some people just can't be saved. Working in my field, comedic police reports and blotters are something we keep an eye out for. Some of the reports I've read in my more than 25 years as a journalist and broadcaster have absolutely floored me. It's a wonder how some people get through a day alive.
I don't believe this person broke any laws by simply asking, but there's certainly a level of instability there.

There's a reason why television shows like World's Dumbest exist. Watching foolish human beings get exposed is darn entertaining. I came across a true gem recently in the police blotter from the city my family owns property in. The Internet is full of videos of officers being forced to deal with--shall we say--dimmer-brained individuals.
Listed at #11 on a website devoted to the country's most ridiculous civilian/police officer interactions was an incident that took place a few years back in the city of Sonora, California. I'm confident that even Beavis and Butthead could have figured out that discussing killing someone with a police officer is not a great idea.
I'm not sure what year this interaction occurred, but it appears that a Central California man did indeed enter a police station and inquire about murdering someone who was bothering him. I don't believe this person broke any laws by simply asking, but there's certainly a level of instability there.
