Monday night was a special night on the Voice. A Pacific Northwest native wow'ed the coaches with an amazing rendition of Taylor Swift's "Delicate".

Jacob Maxwell from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho took the stage and performed for the coaches on the 16th season of The Voice and wow'ed the audience and the coaches.

The 20-yr old has been playing coffee houses, small venues and galleries around Idaho and Washington and now finally gets to the biggest stage on TV right now.

Jacob got his big break Monday night as both Kelly Clarkson and John Legend spun their chairs to snatch him up.

Jacob started playing guitar at 12 and has been looking for his big break and he finally got it with his performance.

He had the tough choice put eventually ended up picking John Legend as his coach.

It looks like we've got a native son to root for this season and I hope he gets all the way to the end!
