Cold Case: Missing South Idaho Man’s Burnt-Out Car Found In 2007
One of southern Idaho's oldest cold cases involved a 33-year-old Boise man who disappeared with very few clues which has given investigators a difficult time solving. Do you know what happened to Jeramy Burt?
Jeramy Burt was last heard from on February 11, 2007. He went missing shortly after sending his wife a text message from Boise, according to information online. His case has been discussed on podcasts and social media sites such as Meta and Reddit. Burt was a military veteran who grew up in American Falls.

What makes this case both disturbing and strange is that his automobile was discovered burnt out in the desert southwest of Boise. It's likely the individual responsible for torching the car had something to do with Burt's disappearance. People from time to time do choose to start a new life over by purposely disappearing and covering their tracks, but there has been no evidence to support such a theory.
Rumors of a love triangle have surfaced online regarding this case, according to Reddit. Jeramy Burt had a daughter who also lived in Idaho at the time he vanished. This case is still considered an active investigation. Burt would be 51 years old today.
