Cold Front to Bring Strong Winds to Parts of Southern Idaho
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) The warm weather is not expect to stay for much longer according to forecasters as a cold front is set to move into southern Idaho Friday. The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Wind Advisory for eastern parts of the Magic Valley and eastern Idaho. Strong winds are expected to sweep across the Upper and Middle Snake River Plain from Burley to Rexburg. Winds are expected to gust up to 55 m.p.h. with sustained winds anywhere from 30 to 40 m.p.h. High profile vehicles such as semitrailers are being warned the winds could make driving difficult. The wind advisory will go into effect at 10 a.m. and go to 8 p.m.
