Cancelled: CSI To Host FREE Event For Reptile Lovers

UPDATE 1/13/25: We received a call from the Herrett Center telling us that the Reptile Review will not be happening on January 14th. There is still a Telescope Tuesday event planned from 6-9PM at the Centennial Observatory.

CSI Reptile Review Event Cancelled

A very cool event for fans of reptiles has been scheduled at the college in Twin Falls this month. Those who attend will get the chance to see and interact with some very unique creatures of the wild in a safe and informative environment.

If you're a lizard, snake, gecko, or turtle fan, then the College of Southern Idaho is hosting an event that will be sure to entertain reptile lovers of all ages. The Reptile Revue is an animal exhibition event planned for Tuesday, January 14.

The upcoming event is described as FREE, according to CSI's events website, but those who wish to donate $5 to the Herrett Center can do so. The money helps staff feed and care for the reptiles. The event is planned for one hour beginning at 5 P.M. on Tuesday.

All reptiles on display will be carefully presented to the public for educational purposes and fun. It's a great opportunity for anyone who has ever thought about owning a reptile to ask questions and learn more about how to care for them in a home setting. The CSI reptile handlers will be allowing the public to take part in some interactions with the animals.

There are more than 11,000 different species of reptiles in the world, according to Repfocus, so there might be a couple of surprise guests for the public to see and interact with. Reservations are not required for this free event.
