Dark Side of the Storm

If you've never heard of Storm Thorgerson, you're probably not alone.  He's one of those amazingly brilliant minds that performed his wizardry behind the scenes.

You have, however, probably seen the Dark Side of the Moon album.

Storm Thorgerson designed it.  Douglas Adams (author of Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy) says Thorgeson is "the best graphic designer in the world."

And tons of others like the Scorpions and Black Sabbath, as well as a smattering of modern bands like Muse and The Cranberries.  Thorgerson's iconic album covers bring back memories for many of us, and continue to inspire conversation.  Storm Thorgerson passed away April 19, 2013, but 98.3 The Snake hasn't forgotten!
