The members of Deep Purple have unveiled the latest video from their recent inFinite LP — and announced plans for an upcoming documentary and live recording commemorating the making of the album and its subsequent tour.

The group went the animated route for its new video, "The Surprising," described in a press release as a "fan favorite" track from the new LP. Assembled by illustrator Matt Rooke and director Peter Rogers, the clip offers an overview of Deep Purple's 50-year history, and sees the group's current lineup weathering powerful storms before ultimately finding smooth seas and a peaceful sunset.

The video for "The Surprise," premiering exclusively above, arrives as Deep Purple are firming up plans for two more inFinite-related releases, both scheduled to make their way to stores in November. The new documentary From Here to inFinite will arrive on Blu-ray, offering a feature-length look at the making of the album as well as "a deep insight into the workings of the band," with an extra two hours of bonus material bundled in with the film. Alongside the actual documentary, fans can expect to find music videos, recent live footage, outtakes and an audio commentary track from the band members.

In addition to From Here to inFinite, Deep Purple also plan to release The inFinite Live Recordings, Vol. 1, a triple-LP vinyl collection of concert recordings culled from the group's performances at Hellfest 2017 and helmed by inFinite producer Bob Ezrin.
