
Driver Killed Near Gooding in Wrong Way Crash
Gooding County, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - A two vehicle crash late Saturday night claims the life of a Hailey man.
Around 11:30 p.m. Idaho State Police responded to Highway 26 at milepost 158, east of Gooding. 42-year-old Jose Rosales–Zayas was traveling the wrong way down the highway in his Chevy Impala.
A commercial truck traveling westbound swerved to avoid a collision, but the Impala hit the rear of the truck head on. Rosales–Zayas died of his injuries at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The other driver was not injured.
