HAILEY, Idaho (AP) — Officials with a central Idaho airport have approved a noise study seeking ways to reduce aircraft noise for nearby residents. The Idaho Mountain Express reports that the Friedman Memorial Airport Authority approved the $22,000 study last week for the airport in Hailey. Officials say the noise modeling study will be used to determine if changing flight paths could reduce noise in Hailey and Bellevue a few miles to the south.
