Hansen Girl Injured In Weekend Crash

A Hansen teen is recovering after a weekend accident that also killed a Blackfoot girl. Idaho State Police say 19–year old Katherine Bulcher of Hansen was driving South on highway 55.

Due to weather conditions Hansen lost control of the vehicle and slid into the north bound lanes.  The vehicle was struck by a Ford 350 pick-up driven by 62–year old Vernon Chitwood   of Boise. Bulcher’s passenger, 18–year old Sarah Asmus of Blackfoot died yesterday from injuries sustained in the accident. Bulcher remains in critical condition at Saint Alphonsus  in Boise.
