
Eerie, Hallway Voices Reported At Alleged Haunted Idaho Hotel
There's a reason why horror film scorers and sound editors use children's singing voices to scare the crap out of movie-goers. Disembodied voices are just much creepier when they're believed to have originated from a child.
Nightmare On Elm Street's 'One...two...Freddy's Coming For You', might be the best example out there. October is the time of year where people make a point of trying to get those neck hairs to stand at attention.
There's an old, historic property in southeastern Idaho that has developed a reputation for having an unsettling energy about it. The property, a hotel dating back to over 130 years, is in Roberts, Idaho, approximately 170 miles northeast of Twin Falls.
South Idaho Hotel Guests Report Strange Childish Sounds Throughout Building

The Old Roberts Hotel was built in 1892 as a single-story dwelling. A few years later, a remodeling project began, according to Only In Your State, and it's around that time that some locals believe some paranormal energies may have manifested. It's a well known theory within the ghost investigating community that a remodel, or the altering of a property, might upset trapped spirits who cannot transition into the afterlife.

Guests at the hotel have reported sounds of child-like games being played in the hallways. It is believed that more than a dozen spirits are active in the evening hours at the Old Roberts Hotel, according to Only In Your State.
