Twenty years have passed since a 54-year-old woman was gravely beaten and left in a residence in southeastern Idaho. The case of Dorothy Mary Kajpust remains a cold one to this day.

 This individual needs to be brought to justice for this horrible crime.

The body of Dorothy Mary Kajpust was discovered in a home along a road near Ririe, Idaho, on August 21, 2004. She suffered in a local hospital for four days after the incident before dying from her injuries, according to the East Idaho Cold Cases Meta site. She had been struck in the back of the head with a blunt object, according to findagrave.com. Ririe is located 177 miles northeast of Twin Falls.

August 21, 2024, marked 20 years since someone beat Dorothy so severely that she succumbed to her injuries days later. This individual needs to be brought to justice for this horrible crime. Kajpust was left for dead in a stranger's home off Highway 26 near East 129 North, according to a map provided by EICC.
